What you'll need
To download a supported Instagram Reel, you need the full public URL of the Reel. You do not need an Instagram account, and you do not need to log in to anything.
Step-by-step guide
Open Instagram and navigate to the Reel you want to download. The Reel must be from a public account. Private account Reels are not supported.
In the Instagram app, tap the three-dot menu on the Reel, then tap Copy link. On the Instagram website, copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar.
Go to the Instagram Reels Downloader and paste the copied URL into the input field. ClipDown will automatically detect that it is an Instagram Reel URL.
Click the Download button. ClipDown will analyze the URL and fetch available video information. This typically takes a few seconds.
Once processing is complete, available download options will appear. Select your preferred quality and click the download button for that option.

What is not supported
- Reels from private accounts
- Reels that require login to view
- Age-restricted content
- Reels that have been deleted or made unavailable
